Description

NGC1333 is an area of dark and reflection nebulae in the Perseus molecular cloud that lies a mere 1,000 light years away from us.  It is an active star forming region bursting with new stars.  In addition to what we can see here, NGC1333 contains hundreds of young stars that are embedded in the molecular clouds in which they were formed.  However, they are still hidden from optical telescopes by the pervasive stardust.

I captured this target with my mobile rig last season while on vacation. This year I was able to dedicate a proper amount of integration time from my remote setup at SRO.  Pristine conditions made this a very efficient project allowing me to capture 23 hours of clean data over just three and a half nights.

Hope you like it
