Description

I tried quite hard to pull out the OIII in this image, which was a challenge considering that all three emission bands appear to be right on top of each other. In fact, I originally wanted to use as "faithful" a color palette as I could (Ha=red, SII=deep red, OIII=blue/green), but the Ha and SII were basically right on top of each other so everything came out just red. So I stuck with that (Ha + SII = red, OIII=blue/green) and the added in the RGB stars.

This image was captured over many nights:
12/13/21
12/14/21
12/21/21
1/8/21
3/11/22
3/15/22
3/16/22
3/17/22
3/18/22
3/20/22
3/21/22
3/30/22
4/11/22
4/13/22
This was due to: my OIII, SII, and RGB filters not arriving until February, poor weather, and (later in the year) this target dipping below the trees. Some nights I only ended up with a couple of frames. In any case, it was worth it! I'll probably take another pass at the RGB at some point due to missing stars in the corners due to image train rotations over the months.

I captured a total of 269 subs, but only about 190 made it into the stack due to one reason or another.

update:
I completely forgot to rotate the image, so I deleted the previous upload and replaced it with this one that is oriented to look more like a real jellyfish
