I almost forgot this data last December. There was not much, only two nights worth. I considered waiting for next year to add to it, then realized it was shot with a scope that was recently sold. This more or less forced my hand, I ran with what I had. My third effort in PixInsight, a RGBHa combination:

Red: 120 seconds x 41
Green: 120 seconds x 40
Blue: 120 seconds x 39
H-a: 300 seconds x 72

Description: The next day looking at this I was not happy with the blue cast and the coral tints in the nebula. Used HistogramTransformation to better align the color channels. Also deepened the reds in the nebula. Lastly, the star field was so pretty that I did a larger 16:9 crop, not bothering with rotation.

Title: Sh2-204 Brontosaurus Nebula PixInsight Reprocessed

Description: Last December this was one of those "fill in" targets just to keep the scope running and utilize the full nights darkness. It actually turned out to be a nice target that looks somewhat like its namesake.

Reprocessed in PixInsight, I blended H-a into the Red channel 90:10 and then used H-a as a separate Luminance layer.

Submitted The date and time when you submitted this image for IOTD/TP consideration.	...
Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
Promotions by Submitters When 3 distinct Submitters promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for Top Pick status. This requirement, in addition to anonymization of images and distribution to only a subset of them, prevents biases and ensures that the best images are selected.
Promotions by Reviewers When 3 distinct Reviewers promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for IOTD status.
Early dismissal Staff members have a lot of images to inspect on a daily basis, and they can dismiss images if they believe they don't meet the requirements for IOTD/TP selection. If an image is dismissed 5 times, it's removed from the process. This streamlines the process and ensures that any bias present in promotions could be overruled by other staff members.
