Description

LBN 777, also known as the Baby Eagle or Vulture Head Nebula, is a FAINT, dark reflection nebula in the constellation Taurus. It's located about 400 light years away in the Taurus Molecular Cloud, which is part of the Taurus and Auriga constellations.

The Taurus Molecular Cloud is a large cloud of gas and dust that contains a stellar nursery with hundreds of newly formed stars. It's about 430 light years away from Earth, making it possibly the closest large star formation region.
