Description

The Leo Triplet is a small group of galaxies about 35 million light-years away in the constellation Leo.

This galaxy group consists of the spiral galaxies M65, M66, and NGC 3628.

The image was taken during 4 nights ( 15,16,17,19/04.2021 ) from my back garden in Henlow (Bedfordshire) and is the result of aprox.6h of total integration time.

EQ8_PRO Mount

Takahashi FSQ-85EDX f/5.3 telescope ,

SG-4 standalone autoguider with Borg50 guidescope ,

Qsi690 wsg8 camera and Chroma filters

17x 180sec R

23x 180sec G

22x 180sec B

26x 180sec and 23x300sec Luminance.

Apt for acquisition,alligned and stacked with ccd_stack 2 and processed in Pixinsight.
