Description

I had another spell of some clear moonless nights, and a few days off for a holiday, so I was able to sink some time into a few targets.  This is the result of about 5 hours on the Flaming Star and Tadpoles Nebulae in Auriga.
I use Photoshop for the majority of my processing, with the exception of stacking and star removal.  I've been trying to get more blue out of my OIII data, using a OSC and dual narrowband filter.  I'm not sure if it's the "right" way, but I've started copying my green channel directly to my blue channel and have been pleased with the results!  The green channel is much stronger in signal (thanks Bayer pattern!), and judging by the response curves for the 268C, the amount of Ha in the green channel is negligible.  At any rate, this seems to make color balancing much easier, as well as pulling more blue from the OIII areas.

If anyone has any tips on how to get the blues to pop a little more using Photoshop and OSC with a dual narrowband filter, let me know!

Thanks for your thoughts and critiques in advance!  Clear skies!
