Description

You have to take your clear skies in northern Michigan when you get them, irrespective of wind and moon.  These two sessions were with a fairly full waning moon and decent wind at the end of the dock, so gradients and movement artifacts were again an issue.  The really cool thing about astrophotography is there is always more to learn and try.  Case in point,  this was processed using the new  FastIntegration process for the first time; processing was done on a very basic iMac, and with this many subs,  WBPP absolutely crashed halfway through integration.  FastIntegration handled it with ease.  I will probably re-process on a more powerful system using WBPP start to finish to see if it is that much better, but suspect it will not look that much different.  Also learned (after these two sessions, unfortunately), that I can in fact use NINA's Direct Guide function without a guide scope in order to add some dither instruction to the advanced sequencer.
