Description

IC 1795, often called the Fish Head Nebula, is a star forming region 6,000 light-years away in the constellation Cassiopeia. It is found just off the tip of the Heart Nebula. The bright portion of this nebula also carries the designation NGC 896. 


Composite image of DSS-II data (70%) and WISE IR data (30%).
