Description

NGC6334, (a.k.a. the Cat's Paw Nebula, Bear Claw Nebula, or Gum 64) is an emission nebula and star-forming region located in the constellation Scorpius about 5,500 light-years from the Earth.
NGC6334, discovered by astronomer John Herschel in 1837, is one of the nearest H II regions to the solar system and about 50 light-years across. The large glowing cloud earned the nickname Cat’s Paw because it looks like a gigantic pawprint of a cat.

Photographed from the center of the city of Neuquén, Bortle 9, Argentina.

I hope you like it!
