Description

Story of a Photon: The photo narrates the journey of a photon that took 2400 years to reach us on Earth. This photon embarked on a path through the vastness of the universe, starting in 378 B.C., and only reached the telescope's camera on 30/11/2023. The photon and its companions detected a glimpse of the past of the Elephant Trunk Nebula in the photo. The immensity of the universe is astonishing, but even though the speed of light seems "fast" to us, it is not enough to travel through space (sunlight takes 8 minutes to reach us). This is a reminder that until we acquire the ability to surpass the speed of light, we must absolutely preserve our world. Earth is our only salvation in the infinite; it is a wonder to preserve and pass on to future generations.
