Description

Also known by the designation IC 11 and Sh2-184, the Pacman Nebula is an H II region in the constellation Cassiopeia located at an estimated distance of about 9,500 light-years away. This shot also contains the open cluster IC 1590 in the center of the nebula.

Taken on November 27-30, 2017 from Campbell, CA, USA. Sky: 18.80 mag/arcsec^2
