Description

It has been a long period of overcast skies since April, the weather finally was about to improve: After a week of unstable alpine summerweather causing good thermal conditions and consequently thunderstorms, the weekend of June 17th brought very dry airmasses coming in from the north promising good seeing-conditions which made me excited for another try to image the nightsky.

Allthough low above the horizon Ophiuchus, laying in between the conjunction of our galaxy and Scorpius with the Rho Ophiuchi molecular cloud, seemed to make a good target for my try that night.
