Description

10 day Moon, 78.5 % illuminated

Time (UT): 19:53.
Conditions: Fair.
Altitude above the horizon: 37.3º.
Resolution: 0.28 arcsec/pixel.

This is the first light of a BOSMA Maksutov Cassegrain (they call it "MaCa") 150/1800 (F12). I like it for medium resolution imaging and observation, a solid performer in its class.

Bullialdus at the vertex,
Campanus and Mercator at the middle, and
Vitello and Capuanus at the base (forgetting Ramsden this time),
form a capital A (or even an Eiffel tower anagram) stretching from Mare Nubium to
Mare Humorum, which are "separated" by the Rimae Hippalus. I very much like this region.
