Description

Last night, after realising it would be a clear sky, I set up my telescope to shoot M106, an intermediate spiral galaxy located  in the northern constellation Canes Venatici. This galaxy lies approximately 23 million LY away from Earth. The Aurora Borealis proved an interesting challenge. Rather than get PI to remove all the colour, I wanted it to leave it in as the Northern Lights being visible so for south is quite rare for the UK.
