Description

so I posted both as couldn't decide which one I like more.  such are the choices in this all consuming hobby 😂🤪

Another backyard image...so satisfying to be able to do this from B7 and taken with a OSC camera using Antlia TriRGB and DualNB filters.  I used APP’s extract tools to obtain the Ha and Oiii masters.  APP did a great job…a must for OSC and DualNB users.  (Don’t know if Pix has similar).  Interestingly, there was some Sii signal which allowed for the SHO version.   I used the native DualNB integration as luminance for both versions.   I find the Oiii interesting and in particular the stream near the core which reminds me of cathedral like sunlight filtered by Redwood trees.  Also, there's a small planetary nebula, PK 103+0.1, magnitude 13, visible bottom right.

From Telescope.live:  Sh2-132 is a large emission nebula visible in the constellation Cepheus at a distance of 10.4k light-years. The stars responsible for the ionization of its gas are very hot and massive; in particular, two Wolf-Rayet stars have been identified, known as HD 211564 and HD 211853 (the latter also having the abbreviation WR 153).  Chain star formation processes are believed to have taken place in the nebula in the past; currently these processes appear to be suspended, since there is no evidence of recent activity. Nine sources of infrared radiation and a maser with H2O emissions have been detected in the direction of the nebula

Title: SHO version

Description: even though dual band filter, Ha and Oiii, for OSC camera there was some Sii signal.
