Description

Finally was able to figure out my tilt issues with my RASA 8 and ASI 294MC. Spent a couple hours verifying where the problems was located, making sure to have a precise collimation, and trying to to fix the problem with trial and error. I attempted to make aluminum foil spacers without success. Finally out of just pure simplicity, I added a single piece of Scotch tape to the affected side ...... viola round , in focus stars across the hole image.

I was able to capture the this nebula and the Heart Nebula with the remaining hours of dark, windless, moonless skies.

NGC 7000 is a hydrogen emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus. The nebula pretty easily resembles the North American land mass. The cygnus wall portion, Mexico area, is a dense area star formation that is highlighted in the image. The nebula is almost 2,600 light years from earth and measures 90 light years from top to bottom.
