Este é o meu primeiro mosaico, e surgiu totalmente não planejado. A ideia de realizá-lo veio após ter fotografado o Cruzeiro do Sul em uma sessão, e a Carina na outra. Surgiu então a ideia de realizar a captura de um painel intermediário e juntar em um mosaico da região.

Esta é uma das minhas regiões preferidas do céu, contendo a primeira constelação que aprendi a reconhecer no céu quando criança, e a única até pouco mais de um ano atrás - o Cruzeiro do Sul. Compreende a área entre esta constelação e a nebulosa da Carina - a Jóia do Sul.

As capturas foram realizadas em diversas noites nos meses entre março e junho de 2023, os painéis não possuem as mesmas configurações de captura (ISO e tempo de exposição variaram), embora mantivesse constante o equipamento.

Capturados três painéis com tempo de exposição por frame variando entre 60 e 120 segundos, ISO 800 a 1600, abertura f 4.5.

This is my first mosaic, and it emerged completely unplanned. The idea of creating it came after photographing the Southern Cross in one session and Carina in another. The idea then arose to capture an intermediate panel and combine them into a mosaic of the region.

This is one of my favorite regions of the sky, containing the first constellation I learned to recognize in the sky as a child and the only one until just over a year ago - the Southern Cross. It encompasses the area between this constellation and the Carina Nebula - the Jewel of the South.

The captures were made on various nights between March and June 2023, and the panels did not have the same capture settings (ISO and exposure time varied), although the equipment remained constant.

Three panels were captured with exposure times per frame ranging from 60 to 120 seconds, ISO 800 to 1600, aperture f/4.5.

Total capture time: approximately 14.5 hours
