Description

I shot this back in April, but didn't like how processing was going. Now that I've learned a bit more (I'm still learning! I'm always learning!) I thought I'd take another crack at it. I got some pretty decent data for my light-polluted skies. M81 doesn't get above 54 degrees elevation in my sky, so I'm pleased to get much of anything.

This involved two different cameras and two different scopes working at the same time. I gathered luminance and Ha data in mono using the RC8 and RGB data with a OSC camera in my 8" f/4 Newt. It seems to have worked out OK.

This is over 20 hours of integration. Galaxies are hard under Bortle 8 skies!
