Description

The bubble is apparently created  by the stellar wind from the central Wolf-Rayet star WR-136 which is 45 times more massive than our sun. Hot gases from  the star escape as a stellar wind of 4 millions miles per hour  which sweeps the colder interstellar gas in front of it, forming the edge of the bubble (NASA - Hubblesite). Similar mechanisms are responsible for the formation of the Crescent Nebula and the edge of the Elephant Trunk nebula.
