Description

NGC 772, also known as peculiar spiral galaxy Arp 78,  is an unbarred spiral galaxy approximately 200,000 light years in diameter and 130 million light-years away in the constellation Aries.

I had been looking for a fun/interesting target in my birth constellation of Aries, and happened across this unique object!   I especially like the scattering of distant background galaxies in this field of view.

This is my first look at this galaxy, but won't be my last! :-)
