Relocating my rigs under PixelSkies

Yesterday was the first day i was able to image remotely with my rigs from a dark sky location. Have been wanted to relocate my rigs for a long time, mostly because i was looking for better skies but also to have the freedom to travel and still access my imaging equipment. After looking around for a while i ended up choosing Pixelskies, a telescope hosting service located in Castillejar, spain. Bortle 3 skies and great average seeing were very important but also the great communication with David and Michelle, who live on site very close to the observatories, where a deciding factor. I shipped most of my equipment on site and carried the rest in (very heavy) checkin luggage. The area is amazingly beautiful, reminds me of california with huge views of dry desert hills. The site is extremely well kept, you can immediately see David and Michelle care a lot about the quality of their service. I spent a week setting up my equipment, had some up and downs (as usual when you deal with astro gear) but in the end i am very satisfied of the choice. David is a very qualified astroimager and helped brainstorming with some issues i was facing while assembling the rigs, he also was often present on site and giving advices and tips on remote imaging.
At night i was welcomed with extraordinary dark skies (and mosquitos, but thats part of the game) the milky way was right there in the middle of the sky clearly visible to the naked eye, i wish i could have that view where i live.
In the end i cant recommend Pixelskies more to anyone looking to relocate their scopes to a dark sky location, the place is beautiful, David and Michelle capable and welcoming, and always there to help you out.

Submitted The date and time when you submitted this image for IOTD/TP consideration.	...
Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
Promotions by Submitters When 3 distinct Submitters promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for Top Pick status. This requirement, in addition to anonymization of images and distribution to only a subset of them, prevents biases and ensures that the best images are selected.
Promotions by Reviewers When 3 distinct Reviewers promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for IOTD status.
Early dismissal Staff members have a lot of images to inspect on a daily basis, and they can dismiss images if they believe they don't meet the requirements for IOTD/TP selection. If an image is dismissed 5 times, it's removed from the process. This streamlines the process and ensures that any bias present in promotions could be overruled by other staff members.
