Description

Am I the only one who sees a burner on a gas stove when I look at the radial pattern of gases in the beautiful blue ring of WR 134?  To me, there's nothing else this could be!  The only thing I need to do now is to reshoot this target under dark skies, so the entire burner can be more easily seen.  It's dim, and was more difficult to capture than I expected it to be.  The little tongues of burning propane are tough to see (though a bit easier to see in a starless version). I used the L-eXtreme filter to bring out the nebulosity as much as I could from my Bortle-mediocre yard, and combined it with unfiltered RGB data for better stars.  It's not the best shot out there of this region, but I'm happy with the result.
