Description

Sharpless 2-132 is a bright emission nebula in the constellation Cepheus and imaged in narrow band plus RGB for stars and depicted in the Hubble palette.    It has good amounts of all 3 primary lines used in the Hubble Palette (Ha, SII and OIII).   The nebula is approximately 20' x 30' in size, so presents a good target for many amateur astronomers.     I imaged sh2-132 through a TEC140ED with astro-physics flattener mounted on an Astro-Physics 1100 GTO mount with encoders.     The camera used is an ASI6200mm with Chroma RGG and Chroma 3nm narrowband filters.   I imaged unguided using instead a custom DEC-ARC sky model.    The exposures were 15 (Ha and SII) and 20 (OIII) minutes.     The total imaging time including 1.5 hours per RGB filter is appoximately 24 hours.     When processing I only emphasized the areas that keep a good view of 'the Lion' while there are other areas that could be brought out but end up making the Lion harder to recognize.

Description: Updated colors a bit to more generally used (cyan instead of deep blue). Brought out a little more in area around lions head, but not too much I hope. Fixed some pixelation due to an un-blurred mask.
