Description

It is true its a tough target! The amount of bad luck I faced imaging this target is unprecedent. I attempted to image LDN 1235 back in June, the plan was to get 40 x 3 min subs for RGB and 60 for Lum. By the time I was on the B exposures my filter wheel was running into the mount. Although Redcat is small but the 2 inch filter wheel is relatively large especially when you rotate it to match the field of view in mind. I always had similar issues back when I was using the Redcat on the Sky Guider pro with targets close to Polaris. I need that Peir extension and riser blocks to avoid this in the future. I have processed the data I have the best I could and I used synthetic luminance to finish the job. Initially I wanted to continue addding the remaining integration but extreme bad luck with clouds and my battery power cable dying on me made it impossible so far! So I have decided to post my LDN 1235 and move on to my other projects. I might revisit again but most probably I will wait for next year when I am more prepared and with a longer scope!
