Description

M64, a.k.a. the Black Eye Galaxy, is a spiral galaxy locates in the Constellation of Coma Berenices, about 17 million light-years away from us. A dark band of absorbing dust lies in front of the nucleus of the galaxy, creating an eye-like unique view, hence the name.

It remained a "sole" galaxy target to me until my very recent exploring in Astrobin and noticing Manual's rendition in which shows strong presence of the IFN, which is what I also aim to emphasize in my attempt this time. The IFN is quite dim and SNR suffers even with relatively generous integration time; anyhow I think I settle on this presentation.
