Description

Large field of the Veil Nebula, Located in the constellation of Cygnus. It is a very extensive nebula that is divided into parts.

Ngc6960 the veil next to the bright star 52 Cygni.
Ngc6992 the veil located on the left of the image.
And the rest the Pickering Wisp triangle.

It is part of a supernova remnant known as the "Swan Loop." It is the shattered remains of one, or possibly two, supernovae that exploded more than 15,000 years ago at a distance of 2,500 light years from Earth.
