Description

Sharpless 119, is fairly large emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus.  It's some 2200 light years away.  It’s quite close to the North American and Pelican Nebulae and so quite often gets ignored. The bright star in the center of the field is 68 A Cyg. It is one of the stars responsible for ionizing the surrounding gas.
