Description

Taken night of 4 Jan 2020 with Canon EOS T7i DSLR and William Optics Z61 with WO 61A flattener riding on a Skyguider Pro. The first half of my imaging session was with an approximately 60% moon nearby. I do not yet have any narrow band or light pollution filters. So with broadband one shot color DSLR, bright close by moon and no filters, I knew noise was going to be a problem. To mitigate, I shot at ISO 800. Once the moon set, I boosted the ISO to 1600 for the rest of the images.

132 x 60" ISO 800

28 x 60" ISO 1600

80 x 45" ISO 1600

3.67 hours total exposure
