Description

IC405 and IC410 the flaming star and the tadpoles ( hubble palette )

My first narrowband project is finished. I didn't think I could make it ... lol. Since it was the first time processing with Pixinsight,

it took a lot of time to go step by step here, I think it took me over 40 hours to process the current one to get the result. I had to repeat many processes, over and over again ... but you surely know that. I think it's great, that in the community everyone helps everyone. This gives beginners like me the opportunity to develop further. At this point a big thank you to all those

who go to the trouble and put elaborate tutorials on YouTube or similar channels. These videos are worth their weight in gold. But back to the picture ...

These are two mega objects. I am very happy that I got them both on one screen! Unfortunately I still have problems with the stars, but a solution will also be found for this situation. As soon as the next chance is there, I will check my working distance from the reducer and then

see further. The datas are taken after christmas 2019. It is my first project with my new ASI 1600MM pro, which i got in december19. What a great camera ...

I'm already looking forward to the next project

I hope you like the picture and I appreciate any opinion.

Information (source: Wikipedia):

IC 405 (also known as the Flaming Star Nebula, SH 2-229, or Caldwell 31) is an emission and reflection nebula in the constellation Auriga,

surrounding the bluish star AE Aurigae. It shines at magnitude +6.0. Its celestial coordinates are RA 05h 16.2m dec + 34 ° 28 ′.

It surrounds the irregular variable star AE Aurigae and is located near the emission nebula IC 410, the open clusters M38 and M36, and the K-class star Iota Aurigae.

The nebula measures approximately 37.0 'x 19.0', and lies about 1,500 light-years away from Earth. It is believed that the proper motion of the central star can be

traced back to the Orion's Belt area. The nebula is about 5 light-years across.

A special thanks to my friend Yannick... without him I would never have done!

Clear Skys to all...

Daniel
