Description

>Milky Way Core // Yerkes Observatory

>This is the Milky Way core stack I took for the background on the last post (please refer to my Instagram post on June 23, 2022 if you're really interested). Got really lucky, there wasn't a cloud in sight. Also used GradientXTerminator by RCastro and it worked flawlessly for the little bit of light pollution that was in the bottom left corner. In hindsight I would have gone for a horizontal view and not a vertical shot, or used the Rokinon 12mm. Wonder what Rho Ophiuchi would have looked like in frame. Still acceptable and my best core shot yet. Perfect visit to Yerkes Observatory!
