Description

A spell of clear moonless nights allowed for finishing the Andromeda which I have started on last year.  Apart from adding luminance data, I was able to replace OSC chrominance from 2600MC with mono-sourced RGB done with 2600MM and the difference was massive.  I am now convinced that mono RGB is vastly superior - it shouldn't be a surprise but there are some purists out there who criticize the sharp cut-offs on RGB filters.

Gain 0 was used in luminance to preserve the dynamic range of this target.  The newest beta version of Star eXterminator did super job here.  Noise eXterminator played limited role as the stack had minimal noise to begin with.  It did however clean up the Ha data nicely.

Ha was added to using the method found in the guide published by AstroEdo, whose excellent work can be appreciated here: @Edoardo Luca Radice (Astroedo) .  The red hydrogen structures in the background are there, not an artefact of any sort.  There are pictures of Andromeda swimming in all the hydrogen present in the line of sight.
