Description

The Leo Triplet of galaxies, aka the M66 group.

NGC 3628 is at the top - it is a spiral galaxy but we are seeing it edge on with the obscuring dust lane across the middle.
M65 to the bottom right and M66 to the bottom left are also spiral galaxies. They are about 35 million light years away in the constellation of Leo (hence the name).
