Description

On the 19th May a Supernova appeared in the Pin Wheel Galaxy M101, 21 million light years away.
I captured the ongoing event on the following Wednesday/Thursday using my telescope.
The supernova appears as bright 'star' that was not present when the galaxy was viewed last week.

The image has been created using a combination of this new data and Ha LRGB data taken in April 2022.
