Recently retired Process / Project Engineer living in South West Scotland.
I have been practicing astrophotography since 2020, initially with my wildlife camera on a Skywatcher Star Adventurer.. I moved on to a more capable astronomy mount, dedicated refractor and camera in that autumn after discovering the limitation with my initial equipment.
My move into astrophotography from photography means I am familiar with photoshop and although I do the initial data processing in dedicated astronomy software such as Pixinsight, I still like to 'finish' the image in that software.
