Description

Finally first light with my ASI2600MM Pro! This is second light with my RC10 as well.

This combination used Ha for Luminance, Ha for red, Sii for green, and Oiii for blue. I tried several combinations including some fancy Hubble-palette-like ones I've used in the past, but I don't really have enough signal in Sii or Oiii for that yet. Unfortunately a lot of my Sii subs were lost to clouds.

I would like to get much more data than this, especially in Oiii and Sii, but it's all I've managed so far. The weather has been terrible for the past two months, unusual for our summers which are usually hot and dry. I took advantage of the one (mostly) clear night in a month. Clouds delayed the start to my imaging, and they briefly re-appeared around 4am.

I'm troubleshooting an issue with RA guiding drifting over time, so don't squint too hard at my stars. They're ovals. It's odd. Overall average guiding is great, about 0.5" to 0.7", but over the course of time (including over 300-second exposures) guiding just drifts. I have to frame my images to ensure my target doesn't wander off.
