Description

Another fantastically transparent and stable night to image 62P/Tsuchinshan.  Even better than the 5th, where the 3Q moon was a mere 20 degrees away from the comet (seehttps://astrob.in/rlnda3/B/), this time the skies were without moonlight.  Estimated at brighter than 9th magnitude, Tsuchinshan is currently the brightest comet in our skies as it heads towards December 25th's Perihelion.
