Description

Imaging deep sky objekts low in the sky is very challenging, because of large air mass and poor seeing.
However, with patience and a large number of exposures, it can be done.

Messier 8 and 20 do not rise higher than 17-18° above horizon, from where I live - which means I had to image through 3-5 times the amount of atmosphere, as would be the case for objects much higher in the sky.

These amazing and colorfull nebuale are beauties of the northern summer sky!
The large field of view of my setup paired with a high resolution sensor results in a wide image with great detail.
Make sure to have a look at full resolution, so you can enjoy all the details!
