Description

Arp 104 (or Keenan's System) is the entry in Arp's catalog for the two interacting galaxies NGC 5216 and 5218. I found conflicting measurements for the distance: The English Wikipedia cites Universe Today from 2008 and a German paper from 1956 for a distance of 17 million lightyears, whereas the latest two papers in NED give about 170 million lightyears with the Tully-Fisher method, which would be consistent with the observed redshift.
