Description

NGC225, the sailboat cluster, is an open cluster in Cassiopeia.  Truth be told, I don't exactly see the sailboat.  Right below this cluster lies vdB 4 - a very faint dark nebula featuring a small blue region of reflection.  The variable star, V594 Cass, is described as being the source for the reflection.  NGC 225 has been characterized as being one of the youngest open clusters in the Milky Way, sitting at an estimated 10 million years old.  For reference, M11 (the wild duck cluster) sits at approximately 360 million years old.

Unfortunately this data was shot through a literal rollercoaster of an atmosphere but being one of our favorite objects, decided to see what could be salvaged from it.  To be revisited in the future!
