Description

NGC 1365 is a barred spiral galaxy located in the Fornax constellation, approximately 56 million light-years away from Earth. Classified as a barred spiral galaxy, it features a distinctive structure with a central bar and spiral arms. The galaxy is relatively large, with a diameter of about 200,000 light-years, and it harbors an active nucleus, suggesting the presence of a supermassive black hole. Astronomical studies at different wavelengths, including visible light, infrared, and radio, have been conducted to better understand its structure and dynamics.
