Description

Hi everyone,

so right now the weather is a little hit and miss. At the same time two days ago the clouds broke and I realized it's been a really long time since I last shot the moon and I haven't done it with the 10" Quattro either. I used the default configuration for this with a coma corrector. I also have a 2.7x coma corrected barlow for planets but decided against using it so I could fit the entire moon in one frame. It was only shot at 4fps because I used the full unbinned resolution of the ASI294 at 8288*5644 to get the maximum detail possible. It's been a long time since I last processed lunar video so that was a welcome challenge

I shot this in near infrared (NIR), so > 742nm for better atmospheric stability. Based on the data I would say seeing was 7/10.

I hope you enjoy the result as much as I do. Which orientation do you like more?
