Description

I decided to test out lunar imaging a bit with the new AT115EDT at the end of an imaging session, leaving the 0.8x reducer installed. (I also left the L-extreme in so I wouldn't disturb my night's flat frames.)

At 1080p, about 3/4 of the moon fit very handily, so I took two 1 minute videos (via asiair), stacked the best 15% with 3x drizzle in autostakkert, sharpened in registax, and mosaiced in Photoshop (using photomerge).

For such a quick project, I'm happy with how it turned out! I might well try this again in firecapture.
