Description

Things happen.   This data has sat for nearly a year....  I wasn't able to get a good luminance data set on it unfortunately as it got too low too early last season.    Hoping to finish up this season, I wanted to revisit the data.   North Carolina skies have been horrendous lately, so I've become impatient.  On top of that....Unfortunately, somehow, in my infinite wisdom I deleted the flats for half the data set.   What I was left with was half of the data which I had already stacked, and no luminance of course.  I processed this image probably 4 weeks ago now.... sat on it, and sat on it some more.   It's really not bad, but the details I want, just weren't there.    My luck, now the skies will open up and I'll be able to image some luminance, but it's still not looking good.     So here we are.   All I had was a stack of data, so I dont remember the exact amount of data this is, but I"m pretty sure it's around 19 hours or RGB, 600 second exposures from Bortle 4 backyard.   This is purely based on the files I have, I'm not sure how much actually got stacked.

It looks pretty good, but don't look too close.    I probably denoised it a bit more than I needed to.

If there's something I've learned in life... it's that just because I don't like it, doesn't mean someone else wont love it.    Enjoy!
