Description

I said I wanted to wait until I could get to a dark sky site before I imaged any more dark nebula, so I picked a target with 'Bright' in the name! Lynd's Bright Nebula 691 is part of the Galactic Cirrus Clouds or Integrated Flux Nebula near Polaris, and is anything but bright. Also, partially hiding in the glare of a bright star near the center top of the frame is a ring galaxy PGC 27265. This was a surprise to find!

Description: After processing a similar target (coming soon) and some good advice from friends, I've toned down the background brightness slightly, and compensated by boosting local contrast with LHE.
