Description

LBN 438 is a Little known and poorly imaged is a dark galactic nebula located in the constellation Lacerta. It is illuminated by interstellar radiation which is known as Extended Red Emission (ERE). Despite being part of the Lynds Bright Nebula catalog it is very faint. This is the largest fragment of the nebula.
