Description

NGC 1851 (Caldwell 73) is a globular cluster found in the Southern Hemisphere constellation of Columba.  At a distance of 39500 light years distance, this globular cluster contains approximately 55100 solar masses.  13 new pulsars have recently been discovered in this cluster.
