Description

M81 and M82, located in the Ursa Major constellation, are two spiral galaxies that form a captivating pair. M81, also known as the Bode Galaxy, displays well-defined spiral arms, while M82, the Cigar Galaxy, exhibits intense star formation activity and ejected gas jets.

NGC 3077, a neighboring galaxy, is gravitationally interacting with the former, creating an intriguing system.

When observing this cosmic field, we encounter IFN, a faint diffuse radiation revealing the presence of interstellar dust. This subtle glow connects the galaxies, illustrating the complexity of gravitational interactions in the universe.

Studying this ensemble provides a unique insight into galactic dynamics and the processes shaping the cosmic fabric that surrounds us.
