Description

Same evening and pretty much the same comments as

Witch Head Nebula from Ibaraki, Short Time
. My first target for the night was Heart and Soul nebulas, but I had all kinds of trouble getting set up and getting the exposures I wanted, then clouds came in to the north. So I moved to California. If I had started the evening with California, I might have had close to three hours of data instead of 75 minutes. Took 300x15 second lights, trimmed to 220 for the actual integration.

Even the brightest stars are pretty sharp, given the haze, until I start stretching. Next step in learning is to separate stars from nebula, process separately, and recombine, I suppose. Sounds like an intimidating task.
