Description

My first day of imaging in CaK with my new Lunt B1200 CaK filter.

Seeing was average to slightly below average for my area, and I hear that CaK is very sensitive to seeing conditions. Will be super interested to compare future images and what resolution I can get when conditions are better.

This focus section on AR2946, AR2948 and AR2951 was taken with my Astro-Tech AT115edt stopped down to 80mm, Player One Apollo-M Mini, and Televue 2.5x Powermate. Best 5% of 4939 frames.

Title: Sharper

Description: I restacked the image in Autostakkert using better settings. Primarily went from 5% (which is wrong for Solar) and went to best 5 frames total. Much sharper details. All other elements are the same (same source data, exact same image processing in Photoshop)
