Description

Combined image from 2 Newtonian telescopes.  That is why brighter stars have 8 diffraction spikes.  2.5h Newtonian F =5.0 f = 1000 mm PDS200 OSC RGB image of M109 plus 3h VX12 Newtonian F = 4.0 f = 1200mm.   Of 467 total frames 83 x 40s and 52 x 70s  frames were from a darker (Bortle 4) site than the rest (Bortle 6) and were more highly weighted on the final integration according to their  SNR.
